About Macon Deck Building
Macon Deck Building is a dedicated deck-building service for Macon and Middle Georgia. Decks, deck replacement and repair, and the covered and screened structures that make them usable in a Georgia summer, that's the whole menu. Specialization is the point: the failure modes that matter here, clay movement under footings, humidity behind ledgers, termites at grade, are specific, and so is building against them.
How we work
Everything in writing. Every quote is itemized, decking, framing, footings, railing, stairs, and demolition as separate lines, so you can compare it against any other bid apples-to-apples.
Permits, always. Every project that requires a permit gets one, and we handle the process, zoning compliance, the building permit, and the Certificate of Appropriateness in historic districts.
No payment games. You'll never be asked for full payment up front, that's the biggest red flag in this trade, and it disqualifies anyone who tries it, us included.
